Cliff Wirz

Since 1994 Cliff has practised exclusively in local government and planning and environment law, acting for Queensland local governments and developers.

Cliff’s experience was gained working for boutique local government law firm King & Company and national law firm Phillips Fox (now DLA Piper).

Cliff has worked predominantly on planning appeals and declaration and injunction proceedings in the Planning and Environment Court, and providing associated advice to clients.

Cliff has significant experience prosecuting and defending planning and building complaints in the criminal courts.

In addition to his legal qualifications, Cliff holds a Master of Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Queensland.

Cliff is an active member of member of the Urban Development Institute of Australia (UDIA).
